The Business, an Anacortes fixture at 1717 Commercial Ave. for 30 years, has moved downtown, into the former home of the Red Snapper.

Owner Liz Lovelett said “Those of you familiar with the Red Snapper will know of the awesome turn-of-the-century brick building on 4th and Commercial that is our new home,” on their Web site.

Liz and Jensen Lovelett bought The Business from Bret Lunsford in 2005. Lunsford’s association with The Business started in 1988 when he started working there. He became a partner in the early 1990s and became sole owner in 1998.

Lunsford and his wife, Denise Crowe, still own the site at 1717 Commercial Ave. It’s up for sale with an asking prices for $420,000.

Meanwhile, Liz says, on Web site for The Business, “We’ve been working hard to streamline and provide the best merchandise we can while still maintaining the tried and true Biz aesthetic – we think we’ve done a great job, but we’d love to hear from you!”
