Friday, the 13th was unlucky for an 85-year-old woman whose bumper fell off her car when she was involved in a car crash. She left the scene, but she was easy to locate since her license plate was still on the bumper.

Police are investigating allegations that a 37-year-old man provided alcohol and showed pornographic movies to a 14-year-old girl at his apartment on 7th St. last Monday.

First degree murder charge in Stover case

The Skagit County prosecutor's office filed a first-degree murder charge Friday in the case of the missing Fidalgo island dog trainer T. Mark Stover, seen above, even though investigators have failed to find his body.
