Police were called after a customer at Jack in the Box on Commercial Ave. got upset because the restaurant wouldn’t give the customer free meals after complaining that orders on previous days weren’t filled correctly.

A woman in the 1000 block of 20th St. reported the theft of 12 duck decoys, 24 geese decoys, a tent, a child’s snowboard, and a dead snow goose from her front yard in the afternoon of New Year’s Eve.

This week’s Police Blotter is a bit shorter than usual. Possibly, some would-be criminals were having the same difficulties getting around town as the rest of us.

The manager of a business in the 300 block of 34th Street reported that someone had stolen two fuel cards out of trucks owned by businesses that had vehicles that were parked overnight on the property.

Three deer killed in the city
