Police Chief Bonnie Bowers says that a man walked into the Anacortes Rite-Aid pharmacy shortly after 11 Wednesday morning, showed what appeared to be the handle of a knife and demanded the same prescription medication that the last robber took.

Bowers said they believe it’s the same man who walked into Medicap, just a block away from Rite-Aid, on March 19 and handed the clerk a note demanding a specific drug. In both cases, the robber left with an undisclosed amount of the medication.

Bowers described the man as white and under 30 years old and about 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 8 inches tall and wearing a dark jacket with a hoodie over his head.

Anyone with any possible suspect information is asked to call the Anacortes Police Department at 360-293-4684, or the Anacortes Police tip-line at 360-299-1985.
