Anthony’s Restaurants says the restaurant now under construction just north of the current Anthony’s at Cap Sante Marina will open this fall as The Cabana.

The United Steelworkers Union strike at Tesoro’s refinery on March Point has ended after nearly eight weeks with the union local approving an agreement.

The Port of Anacortes has announced plans to hire Daniel Worra to replace Bob Hyde as Executive Director of the Port.

It’s hard to sneak something this big into Anacortes, and it is big: 100 feet long and ten feet in diameter. Even more interesting is that it will become part of a 50 by 400 foot cruise ship floating dock destined for a tiny Southeast Alaska village.

The Port and Dakota Creek have combined several contracts and signed a 40 year agreement for continued use of Port facilities.
