Kids are welcome to Trick or Treat in downtown Anacortes on Tuesday, Halloween afternoon from 3 - 5pm. The Anacortes Chamber of Commerce is working with merchants to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters downtown. In addition, ACME Creative, at 705 Commercial, will be taking photos of kids in costume.

The Friends of the Forest Annual Benefit will take place from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Saturday, November 4th, at the Port of Anacortes Transit Shed Event Center. Enjoy dinner, drinks, and music plus silent and live auctions featuring artwork, day trips, goods, and services. Cost is $65 per person or $500 for a table of eight/ $600 for a table of ten. Tickets will be available at Watermark Book Company, the Friends of the Forest office or online at www.friendsoftheacfl.org starting in mid-September.
