We've had rain for the last couple of days and more rain is in the foreast. But, here's a ray of sunshine I discovered while riding my bike around March Point last Wednesday.

ORACLE TEAM USA Sunday notched their first win of the 34th America’s Cup in the fourth race of the regatta in San Francisco.

The 34th America’s Cup got underway Saturday in San Francisco. Oracle Team USA finished behind Emirates Team New Zealand with a pair of close races in the team’s first official runs on the course.

Biology student Saide Dupar enjoys the warm Thursday afternoon sun at Seafarers' Memorial Park with her 3-year old pet tegu named Dio. Saide said Dio is an Argentine black and white Tegu.

Sunny afternoon for a sail


Ian and Joy Sloan took the opportunity that was presented by a sunny Thursday afternoon to go out sailing for a couple of hours after work. They're launching their F-18, 18-foot catamaran, Joyride, at Seafarers Memorial Park. This weekend, they'll be competing in races at Shilshole Marina in Seattle. They own Anacortes Rigging and Yacht Services.
