A 53-year old Anacortes man’s two large breed dogs were impounded by APD’s Animal Control Officer after the Officer on Monday chased them down on the west side of D Ave. The owner faces two charges of dog-at-large.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Anacortes Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
