Police Blotter, December 9-16, 2016

One family living on 29th Street reported on Tuesday, Dec. 13, that Christmas presents worth $100 had been stolen from the front porch of their home sometime between December 9th and 11th. There are no suspects.

Anacortes Police arrested a Snohomish woman who was trying to use fake $100 bills. Two other women were arrested and booked into jail on drug charges.

An Orcas Island man led Anacortes Police on a brief chase, but when his car got stuck in a ditch on Fidalgo Bay Rd. he jumped into the bay to try to get away.
