New Years is not the only time for resolutions. Begin your Fall with a fresh start: enroll in one of the courses taught at Anacortes Senior College.
It’s a fun and rewarding learning experience, and you’ll meet seniors who share your same interests.
Beginning on October 15th, ASC offers three-week and six-week classes from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings. There are no tests, books or homework. You’ll also enjoy the socializing during our mid-class cookie and water break.
This Fall, as we continue our 7th year of operation, we offered 12 diverse courses. Six have been filled, but not to worry; there are several interesting courses still open.
On Tuesday, choose between “Food for Frisky People,” “The Way of the Earth’s Landscape” (Physical Geography), and “The Human Machine, part I.”
Thursday evening classes are: “Criminal Procedure,” “Financial Investing,” and “Our Universe: Beauty, Mystery, Reality.” All classes meet at Anacortes Middle School.
