It is a personal guide to the past, present, and future of the park, as seen through my limited vision, covering the natural history, recent history, and park features and opportunities. (One of our park aides bought the book just to be able to find the waterfall.)
It’s the culmination of all the support our communities bring to this park and my life, and the adventures, ruminations, and wanderings during my time here.
The book is available now for about $10 at our entrance station, at the kiosk at the bridge, and in local bookstores soon.
All of the profits from the local sales of the book go to the Deception Pass Park Foundation.
